Hennessey was born in July 2008 and trained to be a seeing eye dog from the Guide Dogs for the Blind school here in Boring, Oregon.  He worked for my friend as her guide dog for 7 years before retiring and coming to live with me. For clients who are comfortable with dogs, he is eager to support all of his human friends and is a calming presence in the room.
